goodyearThis year, Goodyear is proud to celebrate its 120th anniversary. Based on this heritage and its knowledge of the tyre industry, Goodyear, always on the cutting edge of innovation, anticipates the impact of new technologies on mobility. The only point of contact between the vehicle and the road, tyres remain at the very heart of mobility.

The pace of technological change in the transport, automobile and tyre industries is accelerating… in a spectacular manner… largely focusing on four main areas, defined by Goodyear as the new F.A.C.E. of mobility: fleets, autonomous vehicles, connectivity and electric vehicles.

At its stand at the EVER Monaco Conference, Goodyear is to present two tyre concepts that have the common aim of addressing these four areas, unveiling its vision of the smart, connected tyre, which will provide food for thought regarding the future of mobility. Moreover, Goodyear is organising a roundtable discussion bringing together an expert and several engineers from the Goodyear Innovation Center* Luxembourg (GIC*L), and focusing on the subject of the mobility of the future.

Goodyear is one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers. The company, whose global headquarters are located in Akron, USA, manufactures tyres in over 48 facilities in 22 countries. Present in virtually every country in the world, the group employs over 64,000 people.  Its two innovation centres, in Akron (Ohio) at the company headquarters and in Colmar-Berg in Luxembourg, design and develop products and services at the cutting edge of innovation, most of which become industry standards.
